Briefly

Camille Haylock is the division director for the Information Services Division (ISD) at the Economic Research Service (ERS).

Background

Camille joined ERS in 2016 as the Associate Director for the Information Services Division, overseeing division operations. Prior to joining ERS, Camille was the Deputy Program Manager in the IT Directorate at the U.S. Census Bureau for the enterprise data collection and processing program. Camille initially joined the Census Bureau in 2010 as the Section Chief for the Demographic Internet Staff, where she provided IT project management, website production, and data dissemination to the public-facing Census Bureau website. Before joining the Federal government, Camille worked on IT contracts for several Federal agencies including—National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Food and Drug Administration.

Camille is the recipient of a number of awards and recognitions, including the Director’s Award for Innovation at the U.S. Census Bureau and several Plain Language & Clear Communication Awards at the National Institutes of Health. Additionally, she was a contributor to the well-received U.S. Department of Commerce Employee Engagement Toolkit (January 2016), and graduate of the Department of Commerce Executive Leadership Development Program.

Education

Camille earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Maryland College Park. Additionally, she has a certificate in Project Management for IT Professionals and maintains a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
