Briefly

Eric is a research agricultural economist with the Structure Technology and Productivity Branch in the Resource and Rural Economics Division of USDA, Economic Research Service (ERS).

Background

Prior to joining ERS, Eric was an assistant research professor at the University of Connecticut. His research focuses on productivity and efficiency analysis, including climate effects on productivity at the national, sub-national, and commodity levels.

Education

Eric holds a Ph.D. in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Connecticut, an M.A. in economics from the University of Kansas, and a B.A. in economics from the University of Nairobi.

Eric is a member of the American Economic Association (AEA), the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA), and the International Society for Efficiency and Productivity Analysis (ISEAPA).
