Briefly

Leslie Meyer is an Agricultural Economist with the Crops Branch, Market and Trade Economics Division.  His primary responsibilities include market analysis, research, and outlook for cotton and textile trade.  He is a member of the interagency committee that develops cotton projections for the monthly WASDE reports and is responsible for the Cotton and Wool Outlook publication series and related fiber data. Prior to joining ERS in 1989, Leslie worked on his family’s farm in Texas. 

Education

Meyer earned a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University.
