Briefly
Matthew Miller is a member of the Agricultural Policy and Modeling Branch of the Market and Trade Economics Division. Responsibilities include planning, conducting, and leading integrated studies/analyses/data development projects on major economic problems and providing economic information that may serve as the foundation for policy decisions.
Background
Matt joined the Economic Research Service (ERS) in 2020. Prior to coming to ERS, he worked at the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) within the Department of Commerce. While at the BEA, he was a member of the New Foreign Direct Investment Division. Matt also served in the United States Air Force from 2010 to 2015.
Education
Matt received a B.A. in economics from the University of Colorado Boulder, an M.A. in economics from Boston University, and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
